Our history

Hoogendijk Electric started in 1999 as a sole proprietorship of Kees Hoogendijk. With much enthusiasm, a bus full of equipment, and a keen interest in electro-technology, Kees would tackle his first assignments. Soon, in addition to carrying out relatively straight-forward renovations and repairs, Kees began with the assembly and installation of complete E-installations, working from a building on Ringdijk in Ridderkerk.  Further growth and an increased number of activities resulted in Hoogendijk Electric having to move again to Schaardijk in Capelle aan den Ijssel. Just prior to this move, the sole proprietorship was converted into private company. Over the years, increasingly larger new construction projects were completed and these not only included inland ships, but also ocean-going vessels that required complete E-installations. A few years ago, Hoogendijk Electric moved to Ijsseldijk in Krimpen aan den Ijssel where we preside over a spacious workshop and plenty of office space. This new location really helps us serve our clients even better. In September 2018, Dirk Hoogendijk joined the management as General Manager. Kees hereby focuses more on the technical aspects while Dirk focuses on the general business operations. Together with our team we have laid a stable foundation for further growth in the years ahead and will continue to apply all the latest techniques.
